Fraudulent Checks circulating regarding various situations:

**The general public is receiving Checks with inflated amounts for Merchandise being sold (ex. Craig’s List), Secret Shoppers/job opportunities, Rentals, Etc.
E-mails and/or letters instructing the recipient to keep a portion of the check and return the remaining funds/balance by purchasing a MoneyPak Card from Walmart.
EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: If you receive a check, PLEASE, call the financial institution to verify the check. Never send any money by purchasing any type of card or money order. Their intent is to have you deposit the check, send the funds immediately before the check is verified or returned for fraudulent check. They have your money and you will be at a financial loss
